![]() ![]() ![]() I use the darker shade toast as a cream contour and it works perfectly! I find the fairer shades are a bit warm tone so if I'm really pale I can't use it however if I'm a little darker the warm tones help conceal my dark circles since they counteract the blue undertones. I've heard people compare it to MAC studio fix concealer, it is similar but I still prefer MAC. This is a great every day concealer as it's so affordable, great colour range and very blendable yet great coverage. I find the concealers to last a decent amount of time throughout the day if set with powder. I use the shade Porcelain to highlight with then I use the shade Toast to contour with. What is also great about this product is that you can use other shades to highlight/ contour with as well. But I prefer to dispense a bit of product out on to a mixing plate then use a concealer brush to apply. The product is discharged on the brush tip and it can be applied using that brush tip. After you remove the screw off lid, you will see a brush tip. I am not a huge fan on the packaging of this concealer. But I don't want to say it is the product causing it as I do have a few slight fine lines under my eye area's. Do I agree with this? It is definitely creamy and lightweight in texture which makes it a dream to blend out, it covers extremely well in area's of pigmentation and breakouts, but I do find it creases on me and that is even when I set as soon as possible with powder. When you see people rave about this cheap alternative to MAC Studio Conceal (which to me is a holey grail concealer) I had to purchase it to see for myself.įirst thing I want to mention is the shade range: WOW!! There is a huge range to choose from and if you look through google images there is so many swatches to help as a guide to pick a good shade.Ĭrease-resistant, opaque coverage in a creamy yet lightweight texture. This may work for someone with minor blemishes they want to cover but I wouldn't recommend this for anyone whose trying to cover acne or acne scaring. Maybe I had too high expectations for a $6 concealer. Over all I had such high hope for this concealer but sadly thing is going to be a hard pass for me. Not a good look, I wouldn't recommend this unless you had serious issues with redness (like sunburn). ![]() This meant that when I put my foundation on over top I kinda just went grey. I found this concealer didn't really conceal my redness at all but rather just turned my face green. The formula is the same as the normal concealer. The green shade is quiet honestly a bit of a train wreck. Even though this was the lightest shade it is too close to my skin tone to highlight with. I found that it settled into the fine lines under my eyes, even when I set it. I didn't notice a difference at all when I applied this concealer. I have pale skin with a lot of redness and acne scaring. It applied and blended out nicely but it gave me no coverage. I have to say this concealer was a disappointment. What did surprise me was that the tubes have a brush tip which whilst it wasn't bad it wasn't great, I ended up just blending out with my finger. ![]() The formula is kinda thick but a little goes a long way. The lightest shade, porcelain was an OK shade match, at first I thought it would be too dark but once blended it was very similar to my skin. I hadn't swatched these in store and so was relying on internet swatches. I nabbed these from mightyape for $6 each. I have two of these concealers, the lightest shade in porcelain and the green corrector concealer. ![]()
